What are the terms of use?
Who we are
These terms are an agreement between you and Emerald Counseling, 6900 Lugano, Switzerland, who runs Shades of Woman. Questions about them: info@emeraldcounseling.ch.
The game
A self-guided online game for reflection and play, not therapy, medical, legal or financial advice.
Your account
Keep your sign-in safe. You own what you write.
Membership
Inner Circle renews until you cancel, which takes two clicks in your settings. The annual plan includes 14 days free, and a card is needed to start it. We email you three days before the free days end, and seven days before an annual renewal.
Cancel any time
You can cancel at any moment from Settings → My membership. Your access continues until the end of the period you have paid for, and nothing you wrote is ever deleted when a membership ends.
Refunds
If you are not happy, we refund your first payment of any plan, pack or Founding Membership in full when you ask within 14 days. Later renewals can be cancelled but are not refunded for the current period. Gifts can be refunded to the buyer until they are redeemed.
Prices and tax
Prices include tax. They may differ by country so the game stays fair wherever you live; the price shown at checkout is the one you pay. Payments are processed securely by our payment partner, who also sends your receipts.
Gifts
A gift card is valid for at least two years from purchase. When redeemed, it adds its months to any membership you already have; if you have a running subscription, its next payment moves back by the same time so nothing is charged twice.
Founding Members
Founding Membership is a one-time payment for lifetime Inner Circle, limited to the first 1,000 members, for as long as the game is offered.
Fair use
Please do not misuse the service or attempt to access other players' data.
